Honestly one of the best coffee shops we've ever been to. Hidden gem, mostly locals, we found this place and fell in love. The people who work there are super friendly, and they know their coffee!! We visited twice, drank probably the best coffee we've had, made friends with the people and felt like we got to see a small.piece of heaven in Tokyo. We were sad not to make it back one last time to buy some beans to take with us home but WE WILL BE BACK for.our next trip. They also gave us recommendations for other great coffee places <333 love this place.

It's important to note that while KOFFEE MAMEYA will sell you a cup of drip coffee, KOFFEE MAMEYA is not a coffee shop: it's a bean-shopping experience (of beans curated from other roasters).Upon entering, an employee will take you on an end-to-end journey, starting with getting a sense of your coffee sensibilities, after which you'll be introduced to their coffee gradient; based on whatever you told them, they'll recommend a variety of beans and encourage you to sample some if you'd like (at a cost, of course). Once you've selected what beans you would like to purchase, they'll tailor your brewing instructions to your preferred methods. It's a very high-end retail feeling experience, one that you'd enjoy if you're particular about coffee.

One of the best coffee places I have visited in my life. If you are a real coffee nerd and love dedication to coffee, this is a must. It a tasting bar more than a coffee shop. It has no seats, espresso based drinks nor any kind food. They only serve manual drip but the whole experience is invaluable as they explain to you every aspect of the coffee you're drinking. If you buy beans, which I did, you'll be given the recipe for the coffee and even a grind sample. Service is personalized and warm. I would back again every day if I could.
